This is an informational blurb I typed up to give out with the chocolates. It's my first attempt at something like this, but unless Rhea gives me some constructive criticism, I think this is what it's going to be for now.

Seriously . . . the official name for cacao is “Theobroma cacao.” which means: “cacao, food of the gods.”

Here are a few quick reasons why:

The cacao is raw! Raw Foods are foods that contain enzymes. In general, heating food over 116 degrees F destroys enzymes. Cooked food is devoid of these beneficial enzymes! Furthermore cooking food changes the molecular structure of the food and renders it toxic. Living and raw foods also have enormously higher nutrient values than the foods that have been cooked.

The truffles are vegan and organic! Everyone can enjoy them, they are environmentally friendly, and the addition of dairy to chocolate may block the absorption of all the antioxidants naturally found in cacao..
